I had a friend from the Sunni community who insulted the Shia. One day, I decided to travel to Najaf. He insulted Imam Ali and said they were nothing. When I arrived in Najaf, I prayed, “O Imam Ali, destroy this man.” That night, I saw Imam Ali in my dream, and he said, “This man has a right over us.” I said, “He insults the Shia and you.” He replied, “One day, this man sat alone on the bridge over the Euphrates River. He cried and said to himself, ‘I wish I had given water to Imam Hussein before he was killed.’ He has a right over us.” The man says, “I returned to Iran and told the story to my Sunni friend. He said, ‘Yes, this story is true.’ Then he cried and became Shia.”
