Mansour Hallaj passed through the neighborhood where lepers lived. They had lunch and invited Hallaj. Hallaj had lunch with them. The lepers said: Others do not eat with us. Hallaj said they are fasting and then got up. In the evening, when breaking the fast, Hallaj said: O Allah, accept my fast. The students said: Master, we saw that you broke your fast! Hallaj said: I was a guest of God. I broke the fast, but I did not break their hearts
