Salamun alaykom.
in this Serie of videos I’m going to share you some information about Shia and Shiism (Tashayyo’). The information can be terminological, historical, social and theological.
I am a university professor and I will present my teachings with an academic approach; therefore, all given points will be quoted from reliable sources and I will never disrespect any religious group and followers of different Islamic denominations.
First, it is better to give a definition of the two words “Shia” and “Shiism (=Tashayyo’)”. As probably you know, after the death of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), theologically Muslims have been divided into two major groups: Shiites and Sunnis.
